It's happening!

Nebraska Wesleyan University lead us on our journey! Freshman year of college we both lived in Pioneer Hall on campus. I (Megan) moved in early for two-a-days in soccer, and Garret went on a trip in the Boundary Waters for his freshman Language Arts Seminar class. This lead us to meeting post all the awkward "get to know you" events! A friend from high school invited both Garret and I to lunch one day, which started it all! Garrets first move was to quiz me on what songs he was playing. Similar taste is important, right? After confirming the initial connection through music, we connected on... Snapchat. He didn't even ask for my number first! We hung out as friends for quite awhile, doing homework and running around Lincoln and Ceresco together. Long story short, I actually "friend-zoned" him for a few months. I know... how did he ever get out?! Well, that wasn't even a challenge for him because he made me earn it! Something clicked in my brain one day and I realized a relationship with Garret could be big. I very heavily hinted that I had feelings for him, and he would not give in to making the first move again. One day Garret and I were on Facetime with my dear friend Kayla when she said "so did you tell him yet?". AWKWARD! Although quite obvious through my actions, I hadn't actually told Garret I had feelings for him yet. Kayla quickly hung up the phone leaving me to explain myself, and If you guys hadn't figured it out yet, he took me back!
