Our story started in early 2020, when the world was just beginning to change in unexpected ways. We met online during the initial wave of social distancing, both of us looking for connection in a time when it seemed almost impossible to find. Our first messages were lighthearted, a way to pass the time, but soon realized we had a lot in common. Sharing similar hobbies, loved to travel (even went to Vegas three months into the relationship), and had a deep appreciation for good music and cozy, snuggly nights on the couch. Our first meeting had a feeling of comfort, so much that, it was as if we had some kind of connection; a special kind of chemistry, as if we’d met in a past life. As the weeks turned into months, the bond between us only strengthened. Through the challenges we’ve faced over the last few years, our connection grew into something profound. We supported each other through uncertainty, finding strength and comfort in each other’s presence. What began as a chance encounter became a love story grounded in patience, resilience, and deep understanding.
