The Anne Perkins to my Leslie Knope and my fellow fire sign bestie. Katie and I became friends (aka sisters) on Valentine’s Day over 10 years ago, we know it’s very romantic. We’ve had so many memories from high school shenanigans, being roommates and her having to deal with my stinky waitressing shoes, to following her wherever she moves to visit, I couldn’t imagine not having her by my side as my maid of honor or in my life in general.

I’ve known Nikki since we were actual babies (okay 12 but you get the gist) and we’ve been in each other’s lives ever since. We enable each other’s Target addiction and TJMAXX candle hoarding. No matter how crazy our lives get I can always count on us getting together to watch PLENTY of trashy tv, stuffing ourselves with way too much Chinese food, and talking about what’s going on in our lives. A hug from her can cure any blues!

Ashley and I became friends when I joined dance team in high school and from then on it was off to the races. We’ve had so many amazing memories from visiting her first studio apartment probably way too much, making up hilarious (in our eyes) jokes, and SO MANY gas station snacks. She’s the friend you call when you have amazing news and she’ll hype you up or if you’re having a bad day she’ll show you the silver lining and I’m so lucky to have such a phabulous friend for so many years.

A queen of queens and bikes. She’s always ready to try something new and explore and talk her way into or out of anything. I can always count on Lexi to back me up with my most wild opinions (because she more than likely shares them) and make me laugh so hard my stomach hurts. While her taste in condiments and modifications to her food orders can drive me crazy, life would not be as fun without her in it.

My little brother and lifetime best friend. Being only 18 months apart we grew up together and share many of the same friends and experiences. His sense of humor always puts a smile on my face and I couldn't imagine him not celebrating our special with us today.

I met Robert while working at Cedar Ridge Distillery and we quickly became great friends. Robert is probably one of the most lovable and generous guys you'll ever meet.

I have known Reid since my freshman year in high school. We also attended college together at Iowa. We have been close friends ever since. We both share an avid love for the outdoors and have gone on many hiking trips throughout the country, We also live in the same neighborhood so we frequent pub trivia (his knowledge of food from the bible is incredible) and our dogs are destined to become great friends.
Nik Swanson

I have been friends with Nik since we were like 9 years old. We met in Little League and grew up together attending the same schools in Davenport. We spent much of our time growing up goofing off and hanging out outdoors. Nik was an honorary roommate at the first house I lived in college where we always had a great time. Nik is always the life of the party and has been one of my closest friends for 20 plus years.
