What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

You should arrive to the venue no earlier than 4pm, the ceremony will start at 4:30pm.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

This is a night to remember, so please dress to impress! We’re going all out, and we hope you will, too – tuxedo or suit with appropriate neckwear for gentlemen, and a formal gown or dress pantsuit for ladies is appropriate. Avoid casual attire such as jeans, polos, and khakis/cargo pants. Please note that the wedding venue has various terrains, including turf, cement, and gravel.

While we adore kids, we’ve decided to make our wedding an adults-only event to ensure all of our guests can enjoy the evening. We hope you understand!

Is the ceremony unplugged?

Answer

Yes, it is an unplugged ceremony. Please refrain from using your cell phone during the ceremony and allow the media team to capture the day in the best way possible.

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

If you are flying in to the area and staying for the whole weekend, we recommend renting a car for your stay.

How do I get to and from the venue?

Answer

The wedding venue is located in Snohomish, about one hour from Seattle. Complimentary shuttle service will run to and from Motif Seattle. Seating is limited and first-come, first-served — please indicate on the website's RSVP page if you’d like a seat. A confirmation will be sent if space is available. Uber and Lyft are also available, with one-way fares typically ranging from $100–$130 depending on timing and demand. As cell service at the venue is limited, we recommend scheduling your return ride in advance (e.g., Uber Reserve). Ample parking is available for guests who choose to drive.
