Courtney and Drew’s love story began with a swipe in May of 2023, when fate (and Tinder) brought the two together. Courtney was a college student finishing her Elementary Education degree, and Drew was a Grand Forks firefighter — a perfect match from the start. For their first date, they met at Blue Moose. Courtney was so nervous, she accidentally got drunk off one Long Island iced tea. Somehow, Drew still called her for a second date — and the rest is history. They officially started dating at the end of June, and before long, they were spending every weekend together. Somewhere between road trips, fishing days, and late-night snack runs, they fell in love — especially during a magical weekend at Itasca State Park. In February 2024, life took an unexpected turn when Courtney’s apartment building caught on fire. With her home suddenly gone, the two decided it was time to move in together, and it somehow just felt right. Now based in Larimore, ND, where Courtney teaches first grade, they’ve built a cozy, laughter-filled life together. They love spending time on the lake, ice fishing, running errands like it’s a date, spending time with family and friends, and just being outdoors doing absolutely nothing. On June 24th, 2025, Drew proposed in their home — no grand gestures, just the two of them, right where their life together really began. They can’t wait to celebrate this next adventure with all of you. Let’s get married!
