The wedding ceremony will begin at 2:00 pm. Please plan to arrive between 1:00-1:45 pm.
Anything goes, from sundresses and sandals to jeans and tees.
The wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will take place indoors. There will be an outdoor seating option at the wedding reception.
We cannot predict the weather, but you should expect it to be HOT.
Your children are absolutely welcome! If you happen to not see your child listed on the RSVP page, please reach out to Hannah at hannahdeegarlick@gmail.com. Chances are something got overlooked!
We plan to serve a variety of meat, cheese, cracker, fruit, and vegetable options during cocktail hour. Additionally, we will serve water, punch, beer, and wine. Koopmann Catering will be frying chicken on the spot for dinner, served with cheesy mashed potatoes and green beans.
We will have an open bar during cocktail hour or until all beer and wine are consumed. A cash bar will be available after this point.
We have booked a 15-room block for guests at the Best Western La Grange Inn & Suites. The hotel is an easy 10-minute drive to the ceremony and a 5-minute drive to the reception hall. Call (979) 968-6800 to reserve your room. Mention the Garlick-Janda wedding for a 10% discount during your stay.
We wish to have an unplugged ceremony. We invite you to be fully present. We kindly ask you to turn off your cell phones and cameras and enjoy the special moment with us. We will happily share the photos that are captured during the ceremony.
