Things To Do

Just 30 minutes from Seattle, Woodinville is full of wineries, craft breweries, and peaceful trails along the Sammamish River. We first fell in love with it when we celebrated Gargi’s birthday there a few years ago, and we can’t wait for our guests to experience its charm. Seattle is where our story began, a city we both love for its vibrant neighborhoods and active lifestyle. Here are some of our favorite spots in Woodinville, Seattle, and the beautiful outdoors of the Pacific Northwest
Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery

Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery

14111 Northeast 145th Street, Woodinville, WA 98072

Washington’s oldest and most iconic winery. The winery is best known for its award-winning Rieslings, though it offers a wide variety of wines to explore. In the summer, they host concerts on the lawn, which might be worth checking out during your stay.

DeLille Cellars

14300 Northeast 145th Street, Woodinville, WA 98072

DeLille Cellars is a charming boutique winery in Woodinville, known for its elegant Bordeaux-style wines. Its located just across from Chateau St Michelle.

Woodinville Whiskey Co.

Woodinville Whiskey Co.

14509 Redmond - Woodinville Road Northeast, Woodinville, WA 98072

Woodinville Whiskey Co. is a boutique distillery known for its small-batch American whiskeys. We recommend making a reservation for their tasting tour to get the full experience and see the distillery up close.

Sammamish River Trail

Sammamish River Trail

Sammamish River Trail, Woodinville, WA

The Sammamish River Trail offers a scenic route for walking, running, or biking, with peaceful river views and plenty of spots to relax along the way.

Space Needle

400 Broad Street, Seattle, WA 98109

The obvious one. Even if you only know about it because of Grey’s Anatomy, it’s made the Seattle skyline one of the most recognizable in the world. You don’t have to go up to the top if you don’t want to, it’s still pretty impressive from below. And if you’re already there, you’ve got some great neighbors to check out: Chihuly Garden and Glass : This museum showcases the jaw-dropping glass art of Dale Chihuly, from massive hanging sculptures to whimsical glass gardens that feel otherworldly. Museum of Pop Culture: With exhibits on everything from Jimi Hendrix to Marvel superheroes, it’s a love letter to pop culture housed in one of Seattle’s coolest buildings. Pacific Science Center: Interactive, kid-friendly, and fun for curious minds of all ages.

Pike Place Market

Seattle, WA

Right after The Space Needle, this is the second most iconic Seattle stop. Here are some of our recommendations in the market: 1. Piroshky Piroshky 2. The Pink Door (reservations highly recommended) 3. Pasta Casalinga 4. Le Panier

Lake Union

Seattle, WA

Great views of the Seattle skyline and Space Needle. Rent a kayak or a boat to enjoy the view.

Mount Rainier National Park

WA

2hr drive from Woodinville Seattle is known for its hikes and Mount Rainier National Park is a must-visit. The park is home to Mount Rainier, a 14,410-foot active volcano surrounded by forests, trails, waterfalls, and wildflower-filled meadows. Some of our favorite hikes in the area: - Skyline loop trail - Mount Fremont Lookout - Naches Peak Loop

Olympic National Park

3002 Mt Angeles Rd, Port Angeles, WA 98362

We recommend taking a ferry to the Olympic Peninsula and spending 2–3 days exploring: - Lake Crescent: Hikes nearby include Marymere Falls for a short forest walk, or Mt. Storm King for a more challenging trek with sweeping views. - Hoh Rainforest: Wander among lush mosses and ferns in this magical temperate rainforest. - Beaches: Stop by Ruby Beach or Rialto Beach for dramatic coastal scenery. If you would like some personal recommendations, please reach out to Gargi. She would be delighted to share her favorite spots with you!
