Our ceremony & reception will both be located at the beautiful Connemara House Farm. The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors and the reception located under a tent.
If you are flying into Boston and planning on staying in Salem, then no. Salem is very walkable and only a 40 minute Uber ride from Boston. The north shore has plenty to offer so a car would be needed if you are interested in visiting neighboring towns of Beverly, Gloucester, Newburyport etc.
Due to capacity limits at our ceremony and reception venues, the only children at our wedding are those in the wedding party
The options are endless! A classic Duck Boat tour is a great way to see the town at a glance, walk the Freedom trail, we have plenty of food recommendations in the North End (Boston's Little Italy, also where Megan and Drew first lived together), catch a game at historic Fenway Park. Let us know what you'd like to see and we can help point you in the right direction!
The weather this past June ranged from perfect sunny days, to torrential downpours, to 95 degree heat and humidity so be prepared for anything and check the local weather forecast as we get closer to the big day!
Cocktail attire. We suggest that men wear a suit or dress shirt with or without a tie and women wear a dress, jumpsuit or dressy separates. Please note the ceremony and cocktail hour will be on grass.
Buses will be provided from Salem to the wedding venue and back. Specific details to be added as we get closer to the wedding. For anyone driving, there is parking located on site.
Reception ends at 10pm but festivities will continue back in Salem. We will share details for an after party location at a later date.
