Stefan and I had met in high school orchestra and quickly bonded over Jesus. We attended many church events together while also being school mates through middle school, high school and university. Makayla had known Stefan for many years prior to officially meeting me through our respective church communities. Eventually, Stefan's birthday became the catalyst that sparked the Garcia love story. It is a joy to have Stefan present for this milestone as well.

A sister of mine and friend like no other. Syanna has played a significant role in our relationship, jovially referred to as “the council of one” while also welcoming Daniel with open arms. It is no secret that she is the perfect person for this role as we walk this next leg of life's journey together. Sisters by design, friends by choice.

Fun fact: for many years I believed that Jovan had a twin brother! Jovan had gone to school with many members of the wedding party, including Makayla. As the years progressed, God brought Jovan into relationship with both of us. A brother, wise voice, and a joy to be around.

There are some people that you meet and you know you'll be friends for life. Johnson and I met in middle school and have been close ever since. She has always been a huge support from advocating for me to get my first phone, to helping me stay organized in this process. She is truly the definition of what it means to be a faithful friend.

It was a universal fact that where one was, the other was not too far away. I met Ian within the very first week of university while on a sport team tryout, where our friendship blossomed. We could speak on and on of the many near-death experiences we've had together on our expeditions and camping trips. It only makes sense, that he's here to make this memory.

The Suite Life of Mickyy and Minii is the best way to describe our friendship. We have walked through many of life's seasons together beginning when we met at her childhood church in 2013. From dancing and singing, to praying side by side, our bond has been built on shared moments, faith, and lasting memories.

Aaron and I met one faithful evening during a basement prayer meeting where Aaron characteristically led worship. I was fully convinced he was fresh off the boat in Canada, not knowing Aaron was also born here! Aaron and I grew closer as we spent time together preparing for the wedding of now, Synantée Burrell. Aaron is a beautiful soul, with a creative eye, and excited to help usher us into marriage in return.

Reéne is more than just family, she is a true friend. We’ve literally danced through life together, and this day will be no different. From designing my room through "Atmosphere by Renée", to helping shape my world, she was truly made to be part of this chapter. She has offered amazing advice on this journey, and I’m so grateful to have her by my side.

Walter and I met each other through sister churches. We grew closer as we spent more time together, as Walter's Clothing Brand "BeTheRevival" took flight. I even modelled for one of his lines! Walter though timid at times, is full of wisdom, love and compassion. He is another brother to help bring us together.

Ashley "Cash Money" Williams is the life of the party. She has supported me through this process by offering big sister advice and guidance as I have navigated this journey. Ash Cash has known me since elementary school and is the big sister that I never knew I needed. I can't wait to dance into this chapter of life with her.

Stephen is the unofficial, official glue that brought multiple beautiful worlds together. Being the spiritual father of Stefan, and also the best friend of my spiritual father, Joel Pennant, Stephen has been another source of covering. He helped prepare me for the journey of dating and courtship. Don't be surprised if you hear Stephen calling me "Sobreno," (nephew); I've always seen him as uncle!
