What is the dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see our family and friends dressed up for our big day. The dress code is formal attire. Ladies may wear floor-length, or midi formal dresses. Gentlemen may wear a suit and tie.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Yes! We will be providing transportation from the Wylie Inn and downtown Salem. Wylie Inn: A shuttle service will run back and forth from the Wylie Inn to The Misselwood between 4:15pm – 11:15pm. This is roughly a 3 minute ride. Downtown Salem: Coach buses will transport guests from the Hawthorne Hotel and the Salem Waterfront Hotel & Suites to The Misselwood and back on the day of the wedding. The buses will depart from their respective hotels at 4:15pm to arrive at the Misselwood at ~4:35pm. After the reception the buses will depart from the Misselwood at 10:30pm to drop off guests at their hotels at ~10:45pm.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive 20 minutes early for the ceremony to ensure you can mingle and find your seat.

Where do I park for the Ceremony & Reception?

Answer

Parking is available at the Misselwood. In the case of overflow, parking will be available across the street from the Misselwood in Lot 16 (Frates Hall).

Should you bring your children?

Answer

We love your little ones, however, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night!
