Cody and I wanted to extend our gratitude and appreciation for all of those who attended, to all of those who lent a helping hand, and to all of those who were unable to attend but kept us in your thoughts and prayers! We are so happy and blessed to celebrate our love with all of you. Please visit our photo page in the menu above to see snapshots from our special day! With Love, Mr. & Mrs. Zivley
What started out as a typical night in the city, became one of the most memorable evenings of our lives. My friends and I found ourselves at the local bar near my school. For a Thursday night, the bar was unusually empty. As I scanned the room I noticed 2 boys sitting at the end of the bar. The bartender offered us a round of celebratory shots and introduced us to Cody and his brother. After we settled back into our seats, I became curious to know how Cody and Christian were bilingual. So I decided to ask them where they were from. They said Austin, Texas. ♡ We continued bonding over our Texan origins and played a game of darts before our evening came to an end. As we began the slow walk home, we passed through Piazza di Santa Croce, finally coming to the fork in the road where we would all part ways. At the corner of the two roads, there was a small bar called Ebi's, where Cody invited us in for a round of specialty shots. As the others waited outside, him and I ventured into the small, bustling bar. As we waited, we continued talking and laughed at the ridiculous conversations coming from the people standing in front of us. Before we parted ways we exchanged our information and to my surprise, when I arrived home, I received a message from Cody. Our conversation felt so familiar, we talked all night and into the morning. It was from that moment on that we never stopped talking and we never found ourselves without one another. ♡ I think the moment I knew someone amazing had been introduced into my life, takes me back to these moments when we first met. We could be ourselves, unapologetically, and everything just fit.
