Maid of Honor
Nat and Aarushi have been best friends since arriving at UCLA where they were randomly assigned as roommates. 1 dorm room, lots of pandemic facetimes, 2 apartments together, and countless trips between LA, SF, Nashville, Philadelphia, Cambridge, Prague, and D.C. later, they still aren't sick of each other (yet). Nat also can't shut up about the fact that Aarushi is currently attending Harvard Law School (insanely cool). The above picture is from their freshman year at UCLA when, apparently, Nat was still attempting to make a side part work.
Best Man
Twin brother, best man, and fellow lawyer and D.C. resident. (Surprisingly, the sibling David has the least amount of pictures with. The onesies were a joke gift from their mother. Worn once.)
Bridesmaid
Alina and Nat go wayyyy back to 8th grade (see picture) when Alina's first impression of Nat was that the new kid looked sort of annoying. Nat continued to annoy Alina for the next decade, even with an ocean separating the two of them. When Alina moved to Germany after High School, they began sending each other long videos every few weeks detailing life updates. In fact, it is the only reason they both still have snapchat downloaded on their phones. Every time they get the chance to see each other in-person, it feels like no time has passed at all.
Groomsman
Oldest brother, fellow lawyer, and on the front lines of Detroit Fandom. (This game was fun for 59:50 minutes.)
Bridesman
Kris and Nat became close friends at UCLA when their dorm rooms were located across the hall from each other. They quickly realized that they are both very chatty and love to travel. As of creating this website, Nat and Kris have been to Hawaii, New York, Boston, Nashville, D.C., Copenhagen, London, Paris, Prague, and Mexico City together. It is very hard for Kris to say no to an activity, which is how Nat has gotten him to do a beer museum tour in Prague and a Beer Festival in D.C. (Kris HATES beer) so far. If you see him at the wedding, offer him a beer!
Groomswoman
Dr. Mrs. Laura Hayse, M.D. David's older sister and the sibling he looks most alike. Visiting potential residency locations for Dr. Laura, M.D. This one wasn't the lucky winner.)
Bridesmaid
Sallie is the first person that made Nat realize it was possible to make friends outside of college. Even though they sat next to each other in a class their first year at Vanderbilt law, they didn't become close friends until their second year when the stress of 1L faded and their personalities returned. Sallie even dragged Nat to a Flo Milli concert (see photo). Sallie is one of the funniest people that Nat knows and if you see her at the wedding she will probably immediately show you pictures of her cats (they are cute). Also, shoutout to Sallie's boyfriend, Grant (but not the groomsman Grant), for being the online-ordained "minister" that will be marrying Nat and David!
Groomswoman
David's one younger sibling. Avid book reader and pound-for-pound funniest sibling. (Only Sarah and David could solve the Da Vinci Bridge. If one of the other siblings denies it, they're lying.)
Bridesmaid
Jill and Nat became friends in law school when they realized they were both obsessed with international law and taking the same classes with their favorite professors. Jill is the queen of restaurant recommendations (check out her >500 reviews on Beli) and one of the smartest people Nat knows. She has been spending her clerkship year in San Juan, PR but will be joining Nat and David in moving to D.C. shortly before the wedding (Nat is counting down the days).
Groomsman
Law school classmate, avid golfer, and whiskey drinker. (Ignore the floating arm)
