Ale - I had done a summer internship at school and I saw him for the first time at church the week I came back. After that I heard him mentioned by different people at church. Everyone LOVED him! But i didn't know him. He said hello awkardly several times, and he would shake my hand awkwardly every now and then. After almost a year!!! We helped with a youth event for some of the middle schoolers and one of our friends (Priscilla) officially introduced us. Michael - well...this is my side of the story...lol I just had moved back to San Antonio and started going to church. Not long after going to church, it felt like I was running at full speed just talking to everyone and just running. Then...I turned my head and everything went in slow motion BUT I was moving at full speed! Craziest thing ever...and all of a sudden time just froze and this light just fell on her, she was covered in it, surrounding her and all of my attention, my life just froze and was fixed in her. In real time it was just a few seconds but through my lense it felt and it still is forever. I just thought....”who is that?!”...but I thought she was in a relationship at that time. We met officially during our Star Wars event with our youth, we where serving and Priscilla was with us, and I was like hey Priscilla aren’t you going to introduce us? Lol

Ale - After we were offcially introduced we had a couple of random, funny, but awkward conversations. Eventually... he slid in my DM's lol on instagram. (DM - direct messages, for those who dont know) Anyways he then said if we could keep talking. After a couple of weeks he asked me to go for coffee. Thats how it started! Michael - I slipped in a couple times through our church saying hi, through events like bowling I would attempt to “flirt”, strut my stuff, trying to start a conversation...didn’t work out like I thought though...I didn’t think she was interested. So....I saw a perfect time on Instagram and I just slid in real smooth. One conversation led to another and next thing you know she still doesn’t know my real age.

Ale - So we didnt go for coffee... we went for ice cream because that summer was HOT! We had a lot of fun.. ice cream turned to a small little adventure. We went on several dates... and on February 17,2018 he asked me to be his girlfirend! Michael - we where going to get “coffee”...I remember asking her and in the back of my mind thinking...there’s no way she’ll say yes to you...or even coffee...it’s hot! But we ended up going to Bahamas bucks somehow...then we went to michaels because she’s never been...then we went to hallmark then Joes Crabshack and then Target! That was our pivotal date moment that said yup!! Shes the one! She passed!

Ale - a lot of people ask if i expected it... and no! I was surprised for the most part! It is soooo hard to surprise me because I catch on to everything... He tried really hard to make sure I was! So... March 16, 2019 we went on a "date". We go on dates often so it wasn't any different, he seemed surprisingly in a rush for some reason, but I thought maybe he was just ready to go home. Anyway he took me to "walk off" the food, or so i thought. We went to this cute little place and when i got out of his car I saw my best friend, and other friends. They tried to play it off but that was when i kind of knew. We walked around for a little and then he blind folded me. He left me like that for a couple of minutes. He just kept saying "do you trust me?" I hate being blindfolded so I hesitently said yes... And then he placed me somewhere and asked if i was peeking... and then he kept quiet and finally said... "Will you trust me forever?" thats when i took off the blindfold, and said YES!

Michael - well it’s been on the plan and it’s been in the works since October. I wanted to make it special, and I wanted to make sure that it was memorable forever. I didn’t just want to throw something together and hope it would work, that’s who Ale is and that’s not who we are, so I fasted, I prayed and I sought the Lord And a whole lot of counsel lol. There was a lot of planning and I was able to round up some of our closest friends, I had Hazel and Priscilla follow us and take pictures and the rest of our friends I was hoping wouldn’t be viable till after it happened. We went out to eat for a “date night”. Ale and her family where already gathered at the spot waiting for us, PTL and so was the ring! We walked around trying to play off the pre-meeting lol and when we got to the Rendezvous Point it went down! We blind folded her, and started rushing to set up, it just felt like the Holy Spirit was all around us, and all I remember asking her over and over again was “do you trust me?”...and thinking about what my brother told me...”don’t forget to speak English”, and then I asked her, “would you marry me? will you trust me forever”...then BOOM She said yes!
