Wilmington International Airport (ILM)

ILM is a 10 minute drive to downtown (Historic district). Taxis and ride share services are available from the airport, and all three of our hotels (and others in the area) offer complimentary shuttles to/from ILM as well.

Raleigh International Airport (RDU)

RDU is another airport option, and a great one if you're looking to extend your stay and/or sight-see around NC! It is an approx. 2 hour 15 minute drive to downtown Wilmington from RDU.

Reception Transportation

We will provide shuttles to and from our wedding reception. Shuttles will run to two locations (The Hotel Ballast in Historic Downtown and 8 Channel Avenue on Wrightsville Beach) from 4:30-5:30 p.m. for drop off at Airlie Gardens for cocktail hour/reception and pickup will begin at 9 p.m. and run until 10 p.m. Our venue has a strict end time, so the last shuttle will be leaving at 10 p.m. You are also welcome to drive to Airlie Gardens. Ample parking is available. Please do not drink and drive! Feel free to leave your vehicle in the parking lot overnight and ride the shuttle home if needed. For transportation to the ceremony at the Basilica, please feel free to drive or walk. There is plenty of street parking, and Uber/Lyft are also available.
