Kick-Off 5k Walk and Run

Wear running shoes and workout clothes. Bring a rain jacket.
Look for the pop-up tent with balloons in the park across from Revolutions Coffee (7208 East Green Lake Dr N). There will be two groups - walkers led by Connor's mom (Kathryn) + Garbo's mom (Donna) and runners led by Connor + Garbo. If you need help finding the group, text Stephanie Gambino at 757-272-3061. Parking: There is lots of street parking available in the surrounding neighborhood. From the Graduate Hotel: You can take an Uber/Lyft/grab a ride or you can take the light rail (University District station to the Roosevelt statin) and walk 0.8 mile to the start.

Ceremony to start a little after 5pm. Plan to arrive around closing of the museum to the public (4:45pm). Parking lot behind the museum is available for those that are driving. Residential parking nearby is free and cars can be left overnight. Lyft, uber, and bus (line #44) encouraged.
