FAQs

You got questions? We got answers!
Question

What time should I arrive at the Venue?

Answer

The venue, Bacchus, will be ready for guests at 5:00 PM. No need to show up earlier than that! We encourage you to come at 5 for a welcome drink, time to mingle and then ceremony will start at 5:30!

Question

Attire in...March?!

Answer

Cocktail attire! Suits are optional. Attire can lean toward more formal wear or whatever dressy outfit you want to break out for the occasion. The reception + dinner will be indoors. We will let people know if the short ceremony is outside (one can hope!)

Question

Where do I park my car??

Answer

Street parking in this area, while not impossible, will be difficult to find. There is a nearby garage. It is open 24 hours per day and will cost ~40/day. Icon Parking 197 Schermerhorn St, Brooklyn, NY 11201. If you are staying at the Nu Hotel, there is a parking garage on-site.

Question

What about my kids?

Answer

The only kids in attendance will be in the wedding party. We hope you can arrange for sitters in advance!

Question

Will we be ordering food in advance of the wedding?

Answer

Since our venue is a restaurant, all guests will order meals on site...like in a restaurant. There will be a meat, chicken, fish and vegetarian pasta option. If you have specific food allergies, please reach out by 2/2/2024!

Question

How do I RSVP to the wedding?

Answer

You should receive an invitation in the mail right around the first week of the new year with instructions to RSVP via our website.

Question

Do you have a hotel room block available?

Answer

Check out the hotel section of the website for hotels in walking distance to the venue.

Question

Can I rent an Airbnb instead of a hotel?

Answer

There was a law passed recently that greatly limits the availability in NYC. While they do exist, they are few and far between. We would recommend a local hotel to get your best value.
