Things To Do
Our wedding takes place in Parkland, a quiet city in northern Broward County. While Parkland itself is mostly residential, there are plenty of great places nearby if you’d like to explore.
Nearby Beaches:
Deerfield Beach – ~20 minutes with scenic boardwalk, fishing pier, and nearby restaurants and cafés.
Pompano Beach – ~25 minutes, boasts a pier and nearby restaurants
Fort Lauderdale Beach – ~30 minutes, livelier with more bars and nightlife
Delray Municipal Beach – ~35 minutes; Atlantic Avenue is the heart of Delray, filled with great restaurants, cafés, boutiques, and nightlife
Farmer's Markets (Saturday):
Green Market Pompano Beach, 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
Deerfield Beach Farmer's Market, 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
If you find yourself in the bride and groom's home base:
West Palm Beach: ~45 minutes north. Explore Clematis Street and CityPlace, offering shopping, restaurants, bars, and scenic waterfront views.
West Palm Beach Green Market 8:30 am to 1:30 pm.
