Sophie and John first met in June 2020 while spending lockdown in Boulder with friends. A quick introduction turned into talking until the sun came up… and then not seeing each other again for almost a year. In March 2021, fate (and a party bus) brought them back together while heading to Denver to celebrate a friend’s birthday and St. Patrick’s Day — and the rest is history. After four fast and fun months of camping, skiing, and attending more concerts than they can count, they dated long distance for a year with John in Colorado and Sophie in Maryland (and then California). In the summer of 2022, they packed up John’s truck in Boulder and road-tripped west to San Diego, camping and hiking through National Parks along the way. Now they live in San Diego with their dog Penny, walking distance from the beach and some of their favorite people. They can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with you!
