I’m a Capricorn and was born in January 8th, 1967. Kathy is an Aries and was born April 17th.We’ve got 2 adult children and 4 Grandchildren, plus 5 fur babies. We live in Montcalm County, Michigan.

We met on a website called CafeMom in a group where moms discussed a variety of topics regarding family issues. We responded to a post regarding our children and she responded to my response. We quickly realized we had been dealing with the same issues and bonded over that. We began a friendship and pretty soon found ourselves chatting on the phone. A year later, after our relationships with our spouses ended, we decided to meet. She came down from Gowen to meet me and brought her son to meet me, my kids and granddaughter. We all had a great time together and really began to realize that we had a lot more in common than we thought. They stayed with us for a week and then went back home. We continued to talk on the phone every chance we got and she decided that she and her son would come back down to visit us again in a few weeks. Sometime within that week of her coming back down the second time is when I realized that I started having feelings for her but hid them because I wasn’t sure how she felt. I didn’t know she had the same feelings as I did. Just prior to her leaving to go back home, she finally told me how she felt, I was relieved and happy to hear her say that she was falling in love with me. From then on, we were inseparable. Three months later I decided that it was time for a change. I needed to move on with my life and find myself again, and with her love and support I did. In the past ten years, our lives are not perfect, we struggle, we cry, we fight, we live in chaos, but through it all, we love, we laugh, we support each other and we find the strength and courage every day to carry on. Now if that’s not love, I don’t know what is.
