Sarah and Lauren met during their senior year at Grand Valley State University. They shared a few classes together and quickly learned they'd been missing out on an amazing friendship... so they made sure to make up for lost time fast! Almost inseparable, these two did just about everything together. Bounced around Grand Rapids, Allendale, Novi, Brighton and Fenton - always up to good of course! And although a few things have changed over the years (a beautiful growing family for Sarah and skymiles for Lauren), they still have such an amazing friendship. Four years ago, Lauren stood up as Sarah's maid of honor, so it's only right that Sarah do the same. Lauren is also the Godmother to Sarah's second little guy, Wyatt who is a ring bearer with his older brother Brady.
Jeanette Fiebernitz

Jeanette and Lauren met on Lake Shannon back in the day, but their friendship didn't blossom until their paths crossed again at Diplomat where they worked together as sales partners from 2013-2015. Lauren moved to Manhattan and Jeanette held down the fort in Flint. Talking multiple times a day almost everyday to help their customers and to help each other from the chaotic day to day sales brings, Lauren and Jeanette made a solid team and developed a close friendship. Even though Jeanette moved to Boston when Lauren moved home to Michigan, their friendship strengthened more and more. Distance didn't shake these partnas! These two are sometimes scary similiar.... and scary opposite. Which is why this freindship (and previous partnership) works so well. Balance ;)
Kelsey Rogers

Kelsey and Lauren first met at basketball camp as they were going into high school at good ole PHS! They played basketball and lacrosse together for 3 years and put their skills to use senior year by playing powder puff. They embarked on all things fun and exciting about high school... and all things awkward and not so fun (like getting caught sneaking out at Sadies sophomore year and dating some of the same guys - whoops). The girls went on to attend Grand Valley State University, together but separate. Lauren would hangout with Kelsey at her dorm/apartment and vice versa. Kelsey has always been a wonderful friend to Lauren over the years and you better believe they still attend concerts and go on trips together. In 2014, Lauren stood up as Kelsey's bridemaid and now it's Kelsey's turn.
Sarah Colosimo

Sarah and Lauren go waaay back. All the way back to golf cart rides, boy bands and St. John's where awkward hairstyles, school uniforms and their very first experiences of boys and school dances took place. These two have been friends for over 24 years and counting! When Lauren moved to New York in 2014, Sarah (who already seemed to be a native New Yorker) took her under her wing and showed her the way. Thanks to Sarah, Lauren learned how to ride the subway, experienced some of the best dining and entertainment (The Comedy Cellar & Jimmy Fallon), made new friends and we can't forget about including her at Brother Jimmy's to watch the Michigan games. Over all these years and now miles apart, they've remained close. Lauren was Sarah's bridesmaid in 2016 and Sarah shall be hers in November.
Alexa Cowie

Alexa and Lauren first met at Grand Valley in a communications class junior year. Although they were very polite to one another, their friendship didn't kick into gear until the following year - and boy did it! Along with Sarah, Alexa and Lauren became the 3 best friends that anyone could have! Many trips were exchanged after graduation to Traverse City, Fenton, Grand Rapids, Novi, Chicago, Florida, etc. They haven't lived within a close proximity of each other since college but they certainly make the most of their time together when able, filling it with endless laughs and making quality memories. When Alexa got married in 2015, she not only asked Lauren to be her bridesmaid but she also trusted her to do her makeup, becoming Lauren's first ever bridal client :)
Julie Matthew

Julie, or "Julieson" as Lauren calls her, is Lauren's older cousin (by a whopping 2 years) on the Barron side. Why does age matter? Well, Julie has always looked out for her younger cousin Lauren. They've always been close, spending many Christmases together, exchanging life advice (mostly Julie to Lauren), shared many wonderful gifts (again, mostly Julie to Lauren such as old clothes and her old ID. As mentioned, she always looked out for Lauren!). In 2009, they worked together at Thornapple Pointe Golf Club. Hiliarous memories were made and their friendship grew closer. In 2012, Lauren was Julie's Bridesmaid - in 90 degree heat, full length satin gown. This is a key reason the wedding is taking place in November. Lauren's scarred for life and refuses to be that hot in formal wear again!
Zoey Beard

Zoey is Todd's 12 year old daughter and Lauren's soon to be "bonus" daughter. Zoey and Lauren first hit it off when they learned they were both makeup lovers. It's safe to say Zoey will always be covered when it comes to makeup for dances/recitals and having a healthy kit of her own! Lauren and Zoey have become solid travel buddies, keeping the tradition of running through airports alive as they've traveled to Hawaii and Seattle together to meet Todd for amazing family vacations. Zoey is Lauren's cell phone savior and vice versa if they can't get ahold of Todd. These past 2 years have flown by but their bond has become strong. Zoey is growing into a beautiful young woman inside and out and Lauren is so proud to call her her daughter come November :)
Glenn Beard

My little brother Glenn is literally the best man I know. We have been through it all together. Since his birth a month before my third birthday, he has been my best friend and the greatest brother. From sharing our toys to winning softball championships, he has been right there with me. Glenn is the father of Connor, John, Owen and Kate. Bridget Beard is his loving wife and my first sister.

My cousin Alex Beard, 6 years my senior, has always been there to inspire me. He introduced me to skateboarding, cool hair styles, & Seattle Music. Together we built machines in the our grandparents laboratory, caught snipe, and practiced our art and love of computers. Alex has Natalie and Addison keeping him on his toes and his girlfriend Shannon and bonus daughter Phoebe adding to the constant joys.
Andrew Spiece

Andrew and I met in college on the job at University of Michigan-Flint Information and Technology Services during our work study. We quickly learned that we shared a passion for technology, education, and the worm dance. From competing in the CS Games in Montreal to raising our kids together, we have had some wild rides while being there for each other. Andrew is an amazing dad to Danny, Quentin, Kieara, and Kayla in Fenton. Annette makes him a better man and puts up with all of our shenanigans.
Matt Groshart

Matt and I met in 4th grade when he moved 2 streets over. Matt and I had a lot of firsts together. Our first paper routes, jobs, bands, and so much more. He just got married in July to Krystal and bonus daughter, Grace. We are neighbors once again just a couple more streets over this time.
Zachary Abbott-Main

Zach and I have been friends since 1987 when we became next door neighbors. From forts in the woods, to learning how to golf, snowboard, skateboard, mohawks, and creating music together, we have done so much together. Our parents are still neighbors and we are sharing our life journey while supporting each other positively to our cores.
Vincent Ganapini

Vincent is Lauren's older brother by two years and my newest brother. I knew from our first board game that we would be best friends. He makes the world a better place everywhere he goes, and is currently on the east coast living in Jersey City as a GI doctor.
