My sister, My First Best Friend Ashley was my first baby, my first built-in friend, and somehow still the biggest pain in my butt. Despite that, she is one of the greatest gifts my mom ever gave me. She is funny, fiercely herself, and somehow manages to make every gathering a little more fun just by showing up. Whether we're laughing until we cry or arguing like only sisters can, I wouldn't want to do life without her. I'm so grateful she's standing beside me on this day-not just as my sister, but as one of my favorite people. First to Quest. Forever My Co-Raid Leader.

It took nearly 30 years to find Kathryn, but she was worth the wait. She is the friend who shows up for everything-the early morning coffee dates, the emergency phone calls, the vent sessions about our men, children and whoever cut us off while driving. She is the person I can count on no matter what life throws my way. Through motherhood, chaos, laughter, tears and every ordinary Tuesday in between, she's been my village. I honestly don't know how I would navigate life without her, and I'm endlessly grateful that I don't have to. Not just a side quest. Part of the main story.
