While working at Old Navy i turned a corner to find Amanda unpacking boxes on the ground with her coworker. I was immediately taken aback by her. Later I asked another coworker about her and told him I thought she was beautiful. (not exactly corporate friendly behavior) What i didn't realize was that that particular coworker was friends with Amanda and ended up relaying what I said. So one day at a work happy hour we were all having drinks at The Ramp, and they were giving out free samples of Blue Moon. Amanda kept sliding her samples down my way and I slowly started to move closer and closer to her. After about 10 Blue Moon samples we started up chatting and laughing and I ended up giving her a ride home which just so happened to be right near where I was living. So on the way home I told her how I was going to grab dinner and a movie with my sister and her now fiancé Whitney. So, I asked her, "Should I go right, or left?" Right meaning to go out to dinner with me, and left meaning to take her home. After a few, seemingly endless, seconds of consideration she said, "Right." and we've been inseparable ever since.
I had just started a new job at Old Navy and my first project was to organize a pile of clothes. As I am on the ground I look up and see a startled red faced man stopped dead in his tracks and then rush over to a coworkers desk. After that, I would see this guy walking in the halls, tapping a light or occasionally open the door for me. Fast forward a few months, I am on a plane to Maryland for work and my coworker at the time told me that someone “has the hots for me” at the office. I immediately knew who she was talking about and that point, it was game on. His desk used to be next to a photo copy machine and I would grab anything I could to scan in hopes to get his attention. He never looked up or acknowledged me. A few weeks later we are at a happy hour and they were serving samples of blue moon. Brennan was sitting about 3 tables down. I kept asking the server to send the samples to him and after each one he sat closer and closer. Finally, my coworker got up and I signaled him to come sit next to me. We started talking and after awhile he asked if i wanted a ride home. I accepted and came to find out we were practically neighbors. Once we got off the exit my house was to the left and his was to the right. He asked what turn should he make and I said right. We've been inseparable since.
