"We were both young when I first saw you"

circa 2009-2010

"I was in 4th or 5th grade and Lily and I were hanging out at her house one day. Skippy (Lily's brother) said that he was having one of his friends come over, and his name was Logan. I don't remember all of the details, but what I do know is that after that day I had the BIGGEST crush on Logan, and I made sure EVERYONE knew about it... including Logan. At the time, I think my crush on him was mostly for his blonde hair (lol) and the fact that he made me laugh (which he still does). I told myself back then (and probably anyone that knew me) that I knew I was going to marry Logan. Now here I am at 22 years old, getting married to not only my childhood crush, but also the man of my dreams." - Kelsey

"That was the moment I knew"

1.29.2022

"From early on in our relationship I always knew that I wanted to marry Kelsey. However, the day that it ramped in my brain was when we had gone to IKEA for the very first time together. We both got dressed up and made a fun day of it all. We looked like 2 dorks geeking out over cabinets, home decor, and secret hidden garbage can drawers. The entire experience was a look at us not just conceptually building our home, but also our future! With all of this, it obviously led into the thoughts and ideas of getting married, living together, and going through life together. These are typically scary things to think, but when my mind was racing through all of thoughts that day, waves of calmness, excitement, and assurance crashed over me, leaving no doubt. All of this to say, I had always wanted to marry Kelsey, but after that day, I needed to. This led me to plan a proposal in a month-ish while working 12+ hours a day just so I could get married as soon as I could to my best friend!" - Logan

"He knelt to the ground and pulled out a ring"

3.20.2022

"It took a lot for Logan to get me to want to dress up and go on a picnic when it was 45 degrees and it had rained the entire day before. When we arrived at the Botanical Gardens, we went to different parts of the park and some of our family members were there to greet us. We even got to make our own 'love potion'. All throughout, Logan had us dropping rose petals, 534 to be exact. Each one represented a mile that we were apart during long distance, and we were dropping them because we now have 0 miles between us. Needless to say, I was pretty speechless, and it was definitely the best day of my life (so far anyways ;) )." - Kelsey
