Gameli jokes that when she first met Trevon, he advised her to lose some weight and made her bleed (yikes!). Well, they worked for the same hospital system but had never met each other. Trevon usually did not work at Gameli's particular hospital, but that day he picked up a shift to help out. Gameli had booked and rescheduled her employee health screen many times but finally found a day that fit her schedule. Once she walked in, there was one seat open: right in front of Trevon's station. There were sparks immediately, so much so that they both made sure to remember each other's name to reach out. As Trevon says, "Gameli made the first move, but I closed the deal". It has been love ever since!

In their backyard, on a beautiful summer night and surrounded by family and friends, Gameli said yes! Although she thought the party was for Trevon's birthday, everyone else knew the real reason for the get together. Gameli was completely surprised, something that is very hard to do :)
