Introducing some of our favorite people!

Emily

Bride

When we moved to Florida, I was super nervous about making friends. At orientation, there was a girl in dance that had just moved here from Ohio. I made it my mission to get to know this girl and hoped she could be one of my first friends. Little did I know, it was Jordan, who would later attach to me like a leech and now I can't get rid of her (nor do I want to). From beach dates to worship nights to our dip party, every memory with Jordan is a great one. She is the light of my life, my best friend, and genuinely one of the most amazing people on this planet. Rebecca is a ball of energy and always brings me back to reality. She keeps me on my toes and makes me laugh nonstop. Growing up with Rebecca has been such a blessing. She's my cousin, but she is more of a sister than anything else. She's a shoulder to cry on, a constant friend, and one of the sweetest souls. I met Sabrina Kate thanks to Charlie’s best man actually. If it wasn’t for Lucas I wouldn’t have found the person that makes me laugh like no one else and dance like no one is watching. When Sabrina is around it’s guaranteed to be a good time. She is one of the kindest, most loving people I have ever met. If you have the joy of meeting these women, consider yourself blessed. They are the most genuine and constant people I have ever met. They love fiercely and will never leave your side. I have been blessed to know and love these women, and I am so glad they get to stand beside me on this special day!

Charlie

Groom

Lucas is one of the greatest guys I've ever known. When I was growing up, I always heard stories from my parents about the friends they met in college. As I went through my four years, I kept wondering when I would meet those life long friends. Turns out stress bonding over finals really brings people together. From the late night nerf wars to late night studying, I have so many memories with Lucas, and I'm glad to have finally found a friend that I can tell my kids about. I was super nervous the first time I met Brett. You always have to impress the brother of the girl you're dating. However, Brett has a way of making you feel like you've known him all your life. I knew we were going to be friends when, after a few visits, Brett handed me a PS5 controller and told me that I had to check out this new game. I never got to have an older brother, but Brett is definitely someone I look up to and I'm really excited to keep getting to know him. When I decided to move to Florida to be with Emily I was super nervous. I was leaving all of my friends, my job, and my family to pursue a relationship and a dream. Apart from Emily, Dalton was the only person I really knew in Florida. We bonded over pickleball and a mutual love for frozen yogurt. Dalton has proven to be a great friend. He was the one who showed me all the best pickleball spots in town...and for that I am always going to be in his debt.

Jordan

Maid of Honor

That One Friend. "I have several favorite memories with Emily. The first is when we watched Twilight, and I used her stuffed animals to reenact the scene of Jacob carrying Bella up the mountain. We honestly laughed for way too long because it wasn't that funny. Also, every time we play Just Dance but especially the last time because I finally beat her! And of course, our many beach dates!" Fun Facts about the MOH: Jordan is afraid of monkeys and bridges, she has an appreciation for good quality grass, and she can quote Barbie movies from start to end.

Lucas

Best Man

Soccer Star. Over-Thinker. Chess Genius "My favorite memory with Charlie is probably my freshman year Dudes-a-Plenty Step Sing show at Samford. I loved performing in the lifeguards show with Charlie, being on the front of the stage together for the song "Bet On It", and having "DAP" sharpied down our arms!" Fun Fact about the Best Man: For all of us iPhone users, Lucas is the reason all our texts are green.

Rebecca

Bridesmaid

Witty. Smart. Beautiful. "My favorite memory with Emily is when we were little, and we were playing handball in her backyard. Grandma never played with us, but after she drank a little too much wine, we convinced her to play. She had no idea how to play and got hit square in the head. We all still laugh about it today." Fun Fact about the Bridesmaid: Rebecca loves planes. She can name any plane in the sky and know exactly where it is going. Also, in her next life, Rebecca plans on being a dolphin, even though she can't say "dolphin" correctly.

Brett

Groomsman

What Rebecca said. "Honestly, there are too many memories with Emily to count. Here are some of my favorite: Shooting hockey balls at her in the yard while she's wearing catchers equipment (sometimes); any and all moments involving me, her, Paige, and Kevin; Destroying her in every song on Just Dance; Pushing her down a slide and pulling away the cushion so she scraped up her elbows; Playing dress-up with her as a kid or sitting around and playing with a combo of Soda Pop Girls and Zoobles. Or even the memory burned in my mind of holding her for the very first time as a kid, on our living room couch back in Franklin Square. But above all else, just being able to watch her grow all these years into the woman she's become. I wouldn't trade any moment with her for the world, and I couldn't be more proud of her. Charlie and I have been able to grow very close, very quickly despite having spent, in comparison to Emily, very little time together. From the occasional video game to random grocery store (and liquor) runs, I look forward to all of the new memories we get to create together in the future. He is my brother, and I truly couldn't think of a more wonderful man to take care of my little sister (and wish him all the luck in the world with that one...)" Fun Facts about the Groomsman: Brett has knocked out two of Emily's teeth before, he can fully vibrate his eyeballs, and he has played one video game for 3600 hrs, totaling 150 days of his life.

Sabrina Katelyn

Bridesmaid

Genuine. Kind. Loyal. "After a long week of classes freshman year, Charlie, Emily, Lucas and I drove to a small town outside Birmingham. Emily and I chatted, sang songs, annoyed the boys, stuck our heads out the window, and then fell asleep only to wake up by the river. We swam in the freezing water and jumped off the rope swings. There Emily and I had our first real conversation, and I realized that she was just a truly genuine, kind, and attentive person." Fun Facts about the Bridesmaid: She became a certified rescue diver at 18 but has never needed to use it. She has worked at Walmart for a whole 4 hours "just for fun." She has trained her dog to get Miller Lites out of her fridge.

Dalton

Groomsman / Honorary Bridesman

Pro Pickleballer. Nerd. All over the place. "My favorite memory with Emily and Charlie is when birthday froyo turned into finding a lost dog in my backyard and helping him find his way home." Fun Fact about the Groomsman / Honorary Bridesman: Dalton can fit 12 golf balls in one hand.
