FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

**Cocktail Attire** We're going for cocktail attire for this celebration. Women are encouraged to wear dresses, while men can choose from dress pants, button-ups, jeans, or sports coats—whatever makes them feel confident and comfortable. To help you get a sense of the evening's vibe and inspiration for your outfit, we'll have a mood board available for you to explore on Canva. Just click the link, no sign in required, just so you can get a feel of what we are envisioning! Again, please feel free to whatever makes you comfortable! https://canva.link/xbb1lxqjbpdj0dw

Answer

Yes! Please see the travel page on our website for details of our hotel block.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Children listed on your wedding invitation's RSVP card are warmly welcome to celebrate with us. We do ask that you note our music will transition to a more mature, PG-13 atmosphere beginning at 9 PM.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

To ensure we can create an intimate and meaningful celebration, we kindly request that only guests specifically named on your invitation attend. We appreciate your understanding as we curate a special day with our closest loved ones.

Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes, we will have an open bar for all of our guests to enjoy complimentary drinks throughout the event.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, we are happy to accommodate most food allergies and dietary restrictions! Please ensure you let us know in advance.

Question

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

Yes, we do have a wedding registry! That said, your presence on our special day truly means the most to us. You'll find all the details on our Registry page, where we're registered with Amazon and Carnival Cruise Line.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We've chosen to have our special moments professionally captured, so we kindly ask that guests put away their cameras and phones during the ceremony. This allows everyone to be fully present and share in the joy of our wedding day, while our photographers ensure every beautiful moment is preserved. We will have a designated moment where everyone will be able to snap a picture of the newlyweds!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony begins at 4:00. We kindly ask that you arrive 30 minutes early to settle in and enjoy live acoustic guitar and singing as we prepare to begin. The ceremony will start on time so please plan accordingly.

Question

I still have questions, what is the best way to contact you?

Answer

For any questions before the wedding, please feel free to text Gabby at 409-365-2600 or Jacob at 979-476-0690. On wedding day, we kindly ask that you reach out to our coordinator, Jessica Fry, our Maid of Honor, Kassidy Carter, or our Best Man, Darrian Kemp. We'll be fully present celebrating with our loved ones, so we won't be able to respond to texts—but our wedding day team will be there to help with anything you need!
