FAQs

Question

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at Skylinks at Long Beach. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 PM followed by cocktails on the patio and dinner and dancing in the ballroom.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

A time for the ceremony will be given on your formal invitation and we ask that you arrive and be in your seat NO LATER THAN 15 minutes before the ceremony starts. If you arrive after the ceremony has already started, you will not be able to be seated and will have to wait until cocktail hour to enter.

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

Complimentary parking is available in the main lot at Skylinks. In the event that the main lot is full, additional parking is available directly across the street.

Question

Is this a kid friendly wedding?

Answer

We love and adore your little ones, however, this will be an adults-only event with the exception of those in the wedding party. We hope you can enjoy a night off and party with us! We appreciate you making prior arrangements so that you can celebrate with us.

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

You can click the RSVP tab on this site and RSVP anytime. We will also include a paper RSVP with the invite if you prefer to mail your RSVP back to us!

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

We kindly ask that you RSVP via the "RSVP" tab on this website or by mail no later than May 1st.

Question

What if I don't RSVP in time?

Answer

If you do not RSVP by, you will be marked as "not attending." We would love to celebrate with you, however, we have to provide an exact guest count to our vendors and cannot accept late RSVP's. (This will mean you are not allowed to attend our special day. There will be no seating, food, or drink accommodations for you.)

Question

What should I do if I cannot make it?

Answer

You will definitely be missed! If you cannot attend our wedding, please indicate "Will NOT Attend" on your RSVP so we plan accordingly. If you have already RSVP'd "Attending," but find that you cannot make it, please notify Adriana as soon as you are aware.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! We request that our guests join us in Cocktail Attire. As the ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors on the lawn, followed by an indoor reception, we recommend choosing footwear suitable for grass and bringing a light layer for the evening breeze. Ladies can wear midi or floor length dresses. Gentlemen can wear slacks and button down shirts.

Question

Are there any colors I should avoid wearing?

Answer

We ask that you please avoid colors traditionally reserved for the Bride such as whites, ivories, and creams. The bridal party will be wearing champagne if you wish to not clash with them as well.

Question

Can I bring a date or plus one?

Answer

Due to limited capacity, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Your invite will be made out to "(Your Name) & Guest" if a plus one has been given to you. Thank you for understanding!

Question

What is the venue's policy on outside alcohol?

Answer

Skylinks at Long Beach maintains a zero-tolerance policy regarding outside alcohol. Please be advised that no alcohol of any kind may be brought onto the property, including the parking lot or inside vehicles. Per our contract, any violation of this rule will result in the immediate termination of the event by the venue. We thank you for your strict adherence to this policy.
