We could tell you that we met in Marquette University's library, on the quad, or maybe at a coffee shop or a local concert. The real story, however, is much more telling of our relationship. Tommy and his dad were going to Derek Jeter's last game in Pinstripes against the Boston Red Sox, but his flight was canceled. Upset, disappointed, and frustrated with mass transit, Tommy went to Cookie's 21st birthday at Renee Row (the palace of Marquette University), where I also happened to be. We hit it off, and ended the night by having hors d'oeuvres at Dogg Haus and exchanging numbers. Tommy and his dad made it to the game the next day, and Tommy told him that he had "met someone pretty special" the night before. The last six years have been an incredible journey- we've grown up together, traveled together, attended Poo Cabin Arts Festivals together, and moved to Seattle together. We are incredibly grateful for our friends and family, who have made our relationship what it is today, and we couldn't wish for better people to celebrate with. Cheers to a lifetime of old fashioneds and Moscow mules! We love all of you so much, and we also (big surprise here) are excited to get hitched! #TommyWantedAHashtag
