Welcome to the celebration!

Erin and Austin met, as many young couples today do, on a dating site. They first bonded over a Red Vs Blue reference "You ever wonder why we're here?" on Erin's profile and they hit it off from there... Well kind of, it took a while! It was the start of Covid times and Erin was back and forth between her parents residence and her apartment in Silver springs Maryland. With Austin living in DC and most of the city being shut down the first few dates took place over Xbox live. They played the Halo series and Portal where Erin's character beat Austin's in several rounds of rock paper scissors ,to the point he thought there must be a glitch. After some time with only these brief Xbox dates it came time for Erin to move out of her sliver spring apartment. Unfortunately the family dog Duke, had an accident (he is fine now!) and needed constant supervision for his recovery. Luckily for Austin this meant that Erin needed a big strong guy to help take apart her furniture! So Austin came to the rescue to dismantle the Ikea furniture, now you may be thinking "aw cute first date!" but Erin's Mom, Lori, was there for the first in person meeting as well! What's more romantic than taking your Mom with you on your first date? Thankfully Austin and Lori bonded over being engineers and the move/date went off without a hitch. A few weeks later... Erin had finally moved into her own apartment and felt settled enough to go on a real date! Austin picked her up at 6 sharp and they had a wonderful dinner at Barcelona Wine bar and the rest is history! Since then Austin and Erin have spent their time with their pets, Jemilla the Great Dane, and Marley the cat. They like to travel and have taken trips to Disney, a Caribbean cruise, and trips to see Austin's family in NY. They frequently play video games together on the PC and Xbox. Most days they like to stay in and watch a movie all cozy on the couch.
