Our story began in 2015 at Queen’s University, where we sat in the same Commerce section and became fast friends. A few months (and a few group projects) later, we started dating in 2016, and the rest is history. After graduation, we moved to New York City to start our careers and, a couple of years later, we even ended up as coworkers – and somehow still didn’t get tired of each other. After five years in New York, we made our way back to Toronto, building our life here and getting ready to celebrate ten years together with all of you.

Adam proposed in San Benedetto, Italy, a beach town that’s long been special to his family. Knowing Jess loves a good scavenger hunt, he planned a multi-stop adventure along the beachfront, with clues leading to a hotel rooftop overlooking the Adriatic Sea and rolling hills. When she reached the final stop, Adam was waiting with a ring, and both of their families were there to celebrate a moment they’d never forget.
