What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive to the Lansdowne Resort by 5:30 PM. The resort is expansive and this will ensure that you have time to find your seat before the ceremony! The ceremony will be held on the Potomac Terrace. Upon entering the Lansdowne, head straight through the lobby and proceed down the stairs in front of the stone fountain. The Potomac Terrace will be outside through the set of double doors to the left.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is formal - think suits, gowns, and elegant cocktail dresses. The wedding party will be dressed in shades of blue, so feel free to complement the palette or wear a color that makes you feel your best. Most importantly, come ready to celebrate in style.

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our wedding day will take place in a series of beautiful settings. The ceremony will be held on the Potomac Terrace, looking onto the golf course. Following the ceremony, we’ll gather for cocktail hour on the terrace. The evening will continue inside the Lansdowne Clubhouse Ballroom, located in the Clubhouse adjacent to the terrace and connected by a covered, paved walkway.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?

Answer

We kindly ask all our guests to be fully present with us during our ceremony by refraining from taking pictures or videos. We’ve hired a professional photographer to capture every special moment, and we can’t wait to share those photos with you. Your presence and attention mean the world to us, and we’d love for you to simply relax, enjoy the moment, and celebrate this meaningful time together. Thank you for honoring our wishes and helping us create a truly memorable experience.

May I bring a plus one?

We kindly ask that only those listed on the invitation join us for our special day. Due to venue capacity we are unable to accommodate additional guests. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with each of you who have been invited.

Can I bring my children?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration, with the exception of those in the immediate family. We hope you enjoy a night off to relax, dress up, and celebrate with us.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP by July 21st so we can provide our final guest count to the venue. Your timely response is greatly appreciated, and it helps us ensure everything is perfectly planned for our special day
