Carlsbad Village offers a variety of activities, including relaxing on South Carlsbad State Beach, exploring unique shops and dining experiences, enjoying live music ,visiting historical sites, museums such as the museums, farmer's markets and more.
San Diego Zoo Safari Park
The San Diego Zoo Safari Park is an expansive 1,800-acre wildlife sanctuary dedicated to recreating natural habitats for over 3,500 animals from Africa and Asia, focusing on rare and endangered species. Visitors can experience a safari-like adventure with the included Africa Tram, a 2.5-mile guided tour through savanna habitats featuring giraffes, rhinos, and other animals in a more natural setting. Beyond the tram, the park offers Walkabout Australia with its kangaroos and platypuses, the Tull Family Tiger Trail showcasing Sumatran tigers, and Elephant Valley, home to African elephants.
