The first time I met Austen was while working at the Palm West in NYC, it was one of my first days there and I was dropping off dishes at the dish pit and Austen asks if my name was really Gleek? Used to the mispronunciation, I patiently repeated my name phonetically to which he replied, "aw so your name isn't gleek like when you spit from under your tongue?" and then proceeded to demonstrate what he meant for me. The rest, as they say, is history. Interestingly, this is Austen's first memory as well, though he contests the location of said "Gleeking"
