FAQs

One of the busiest times of the year in the Keys is December, especially around the holidays. Traffic will be heavy and hotel rooms and cars will be booked more than usual. We ask that you please plan accordingly and make your best efforts to arrive on time. We recommend booking your flight to arrive Thursday night or very early Friday morning at the latest. Sorry for the inconvenience, and feel free to reach out to us with any concerns. We can't wait to celebrate with you!
Question

What time is the ceremony?

Answer

The sun sets early in Islamorada in December. Our Ceremony will begin at 4:30pm sharp! We want you to enjoy a bit of daylight with us.

Question

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

Our Ceremony will be on the Beach. Cocktail Hour and Reception will take place on the lawn. We ask that men wear suits and women wear mid to floor-length, formal dresses. We suggest block heels for ladies!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please let us know of any food allergies on your RSVP. We are happy to accommodate you!

Question

May I bring a guest?

Answer

Plus ones are by invitation only. Thanks for understanding!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We respectfully request an adults-only wedding. If you require childcare, please reach out to our planner for local recommendations: becky@blue-water-weddings.com.
