Things To Do
Table Rock
One of our favorite things to do is hike Table Rock! We’ve done this multiple times and it’s such a beautiful hike for the mornings! We don’t recommend going in the afternoon when its hot, but its a wonderful morning hike. Make sure to bring your tennis shoes if you’re planning to go on this hike because its all dirt path until the top. It is a little tricky because its all uphill but make it fun and bring lots of water! The view from the top is so beautiful and its 100% worth it!
Floating or Playing in the Boise River
We floated the Boise river this last summer and it was a blast! If you plan to try this give yourself about 4 hours of time to do it because you have to take a shuttle and it takes about 3 hours to float. This option is on the pricey side but its a blast and its a super fun experience! Make sure someone brings their ID and a card as a form of payment! You will take a shuttle that is $3 a person which will take you from Ann Morrison park to Barber park which is where they do the tube rentals. The reason for the shuttle is because when you’re done floating you’ll end up back at Ann Morrison park!
Roaring Springs Water Park
We both worked here for 3 summers in a row! This place was a blessing to us because it helped us be able to see each other a lot and it gave us super amazing memories. This is such a great place to visit and have fun! There’s so much to see and do here. We definitely recommend. There is so much to do here including a lazy river, wave pool, kiddie pool, many different water slides (including drop slides if you’re brave enough), and lots of yummy food and dessert!
Wahooz Family Fun Zone
We went on our first date here! Needless to say we had a blast! Fun fact this place is actually connected to Roaring Springs if you are interested in doing both. There’s so much to do here depending on what package you purchase but there’s mini golf, laser tag, games, bumper boats, race cars, bowling, etc! Definitely recommend.
The Village at Meridian
This is a super great place to go when just wanting to hangout, grab some food, see a movie, and shop! There are stores and restaurants all over the village! This is a super fun place with so many options for everyone!
Majestic Cinemas
This is our favorite movie theater to go to! We have seen more than 20 movies here and we love it! Super comfortable seats and huge screens! They like to do throwback movies and they do all of the new movies as well!
