Hotel
This is our primary hotel for the wedding. We have a block of rooms reserved but there is a 2-night minimum stay. Hotel Madison (below) can be booked for guests staying one night. Please read the important info below regarding booking details, deadlines, cancellation policy, etc. Harley is the representative who will assist guests with booking. She has included the following about the booking process: To book a room in the block please call 540-289-4032. Let the reservationist know you’re booking a room within the Richard/OBrien Wedding October 2023 room block. Another booking option is filling out the Booking Form - click View button at the bottom of the page if you would like to use this form. Guests will have until Sep 6, 2023 to book their room within the room block. After this date, rooms will only be available on a first-come, first-serve basis at the rate then in effect. Room Block Reservation & Payment Policy: A $75.00 payment is due at the time of booking. All reservations require full payment 7 days before check in. The amount due will be charged to the credit card on file automatically unless otherwise noted. Must be 21 years of age or older to reserve and check-in. Only the name on the reservation will be allowed to check-in. Taxes totaling 10.3% and $16.00 per room, per night are additional. Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made at least seven days before arrival. A $75.00 per room cancellation fee will apply to cancellations of reservations within seven days of your scheduled arrival date. Any no shows will incur a charge of one night’s rental per room and forfeit the remainder of the reservation. Condo and hotel reservations are subject to a $25 change fee. No refunds are given for early departures. Check-in/Check-out Information: Condo and Hotel check-in time is 5:00 pm and check-out time is 10:00 am. A refundable credit card deposit is a requirement at check-in for incidentals. We look forward to welcoming your group!

This is the hotel option for guests staying only one night (Saturday October 21st 2023). Below is the information about our wedding block provided by the hotel: To make reservations within the group block guests may use the link provided below or call the hotel reservations department directly at 540-564-0200. If calling directly, please inform them that you are participants of the Richard-O'Brien Wedding Room Block to ensure your room is booked in the block at the special group rate. The booking cut off date is 9/20/2023. Any rooms remaining in the block will be released back into general inventory after 5:00 PM on this date. Reservation requests after this date are subject to room/rate availability, and are not guaranteed. Check-In and Check-Out: Check-in begins at 4:00 pm Guests must check out by 11:00 am They can try to accommodate early check in or late check out if you call. However, they cannot guarantee it. They will store your luggage for you if needed prior to check in. Parking: Garage parking is available adjacent to the hotel and the entrance is located off MLK Jr Way. The hotel is accessed via a covered walkway from the garage. The rate is $5 per day per car with unlimited in/out access.

~20 min drive, but this is a very small airport. There are direct flights from Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) in Charlotte, NC. If you fly into Charlotte then you can more easily access SHD.
