Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

RSVP by October 1st! You can RSVP online through the RSVP section of this website.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are registered through Zola and Amazon, both of which are linked under the "Registry" tab! We prefer our Amazon registry, so check that out first!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the ceremony start time (4:00) to make sure that you have plenty of time to get settled before the processional begins.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would prefer that you dress in cocktail attire. For ladies, that can be cocktail dresses, dressy pantsuits, and upscale two-piece sets. For gentlemen, that can mean dark pants and jackets, dress shirts with or without ties, and dress shoes. Since we are marrying at a historic restored mansion, feel free to dress in vintage-inspired wear! Please refrain from wearing perfumes, colognes, or other heavily-scented products such as lotions.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to the intimate nature of our event and venue, we can only host those specified on your invitation. If it has not been specified on your invitation that you may bring a guest, please only bring yourself!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please do! There is a "dietary restrictions" section of the RSVP, which will help us figure out how best to accommodate you.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is a gravel parking lot to the right of the house. Please park there. If the house parking lot is full when you arrive, you may park across the street in the church parking lot and walk to the house from there.

Question

Where is the ceremony? Where is the reception?

Answer

The ceremony will take place (weather permitting) outside the gazebo in the House's backyard. If it is actively raining, the ceremony will be held in the House's main foyer. Cocktail hour will be held to the left of the gazebo, by the central gate. The reception will be held in the reception garage directly next to the house.

Question

Have you reserved hotel room blocks?

Answer

We have not reserved hotel room blocks, but there are several suggestions for accommodations on our "Travel" section of the website.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony/reception?

Answer

During the ceremony, we ask that you set aside your phones to be fully present in the moment. Our photographer Deena is absolutely phenomenal, and we will be certain to make those pictures available to everyone! During cocktail hour and the reception, however, please feel free to take as many pictures and videos as you'd like! All we ask is that you would upload them to the drive that we will provide QR codes for.

Question

What food will be served at the reception?

Answer

A buffet tex-mex style dinner will be served, followed by a dessert bar. Mocktails will be available during the mocktail hour, and a coffee/tea bar will be open after dinner. All offerings will be gluten free. If you have any other allergies, please indicate that in your RSVP.

Question

What time is the reception scheduled to end?

Answer

The grand exit will be at 9:00, and the party will wrap up shortly after.
