FAQs

The Wedding Website of Gal Cohen and Helena Birgusová
Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

If you can, we recommend arriving on Thursday June 18th, so you have time to settle in, enjoy Prague, and join us for our welcome day on Friday June 19th (optional but very fun!). This way, you’ll be relaxed and ready to fully enjoy the wedding day on Saturday June 20th.

Question

Dress code

Answer

Think garden party: relaxed yet elegant. Summer dresses and (light) suits. We want you to feel dressed up, but also comfortable enough to celebrate and dance with us.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors at Salabka vineyard, weather permitting, followed by dinner and dancing indoors. June in Prague is usually warm and very pleasant, ideal for an outdoor celebration. Evenings can cool down, so we recommend bringing a light jacket just in case. The evening part of the celebration will be indoors with air conditioning, so we’ll be comfortable no matter the weather.

Question

Are there +1s?

Answer

We truly believe we’ve invited everyone who is dear to us and who we want to share this day with. If your invitation was addressed to you as a couple, then of course your partner is included. If not, we kindly ask that you attend solo. That said, life happens, if you find yourself newly in love or have questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us. We’re always happy to talk.

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

We love children and truly believe they bring a lot of joy and beauty wherever they go. That said, we want to be transparent: there will be no babysitting provided, and the venue setup and schedule may not be ideal for little ones. If you’re considering bringing your children, please let us know in advance. We completely understand and support whatever decision works best for your family.

Question

Gifts

Answer

Your presence in Prague truly means the world to us. We know that many of you are traveling from near and far, and that alone is the most meaningful gift we could ask for. We also want to share that we both love minimalism and already feel very lucky to have everything we need. While gifts are absolutely not expected, we understand that some of you may wish to give something. If that’s the case, we’ll be creating a honeymoon registry closer to the date, where we’ll share a few special experiences you can contribute to if you’d like. More details will follow but truly, celebrating together is what matters most to us 🤍

Question

Will transportation be provided to the venue?

Answer

We won’t be organizing group transportation, but getting to and from the venue is very easy by taxi or public transport. More details can be found in the Travel section.

Question

What about food and dietary restrictions?

Answer

Dinner will be served buffet-style, as we know our group includes many different diets, preferences, and allergies. There will be a variety of options available, including vegetarian, gluten-free, nut-free, and more, so everyone can comfortably choose what suits them best. The food will be prepared by the top-notch team at Salabka restaurant, and we truly can’t wait to enjoy delicious food, great wine, and long conversations together with all of you. If you have a severe allergy or specific concern, please feel free to reach out to us in advance.
