Which hotel do I book?
Answer
The Barcelo property contains 6 hotels. We highly recommend the Barcelo Maya Riviera, the adults-only hotel. However, if you're traveling with someone under 18, you're welcome to choose from one of the other five hotels: Beach, Caribe, Colonial, Palace, or Tropical. The bride & groom will be residing at the adults-only hotel - if you would like to be in close proximity the nearest hotel option is Beach.

It's up to you! The bride & groom have decided to open the rehearsal dinner to all guests.

What is the dress code?
Answer
We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up with us in your Sunday-Best! Please refrain from wearing shorts or denim, however, short sleeve shirts are permitted. The ceremony & reception are being held on the beach, footwear is optional. Inspo Attire: Women: Sundresses, flowy maxi dresses, etc. Men: Button down shirt, slacks, chinos, linen pants, etc.

What do I wear to dinner?
Answer
The Barcelo resort does enforce a dress code in regard to meal time. When enjoying the buffet restaurants, kindly wear a cover-up or shirt over your swimwear. Gentlemen, please note that shorts are not permitted for any dinner service. We kindly request that you pack accordingly!

Will the wedding be held outdoors?

Yes, we are embracing the dreamy view! Our ceremony & reception will be held on the beach.

Can I bring my children?
Answer
We love that you are willing to travel internationally just for us! Unfortunately, children (under 18) cannot attend the wedding ceremony or reception. Please note that the resort houses an "adult-only" property where the bride & groom will be primarily residing.

Can I bring a guest/date?
Answer
If you received a plus one, your guest's name is listed on your invitation and will appear under your name when you RSVP. Due to international travel, we can only accommodate those who are formally invited. Thank you for understanding!
