Our story began thanks to a little persistence and perfect timing. Mike’s Uncle Joe, who happened to be Ariana’s patient, was convinced the two of us needed to meet. He didn’t take no for an answer—and thankfully so. After enough encouragement, Michael reached out to Ariana, and the rest is history. At the time, we were both living on Long Island, and it didn’t take long for that first introduction to turn into our first date on 8/16/2021. We met at the Long Beach Boardwalk and did what felt most natural—walked, talked, and got ice cream from Marvel. Ironically, there was an engagement photoshoot occurring on the boardwalk at the time as our date. Three hours flew by as we shared stories, laughs, and got to know one another, until the date quite literally had to end when Mike’s foot started bleeding. It was unforgettable in every way and somehow still the easiest conversation either of us had ever had. From that night on, our connection only grew stronger. Through everyday moments and meaningful milestones, we found comfort, laughter, and home in each other. So when it came time for the proposal, there was no place more fitting than where it all began. Mike proposed on 2/8/2025 at the Long Beach Boardwalk—our very first date spot—bringing our story beautifully full circle. Now, we’re so excited to begin our next chapter together and even more grateful to celebrate it with the people who mean the most to us.
