Hotel
This is where Christie and I will be staying during our stay in Cape May, and we'd love for you all to join us! This is a 64-room, beach-side inn with a parking spot for each room. There are a wide array of room choices for every budget. It's located a 10 minute drive from our wedding venue, a 10 minute walk from Congress Hall and the Washington Street Mall, and a 10 second walk to the most beautiful beach on the Jersey Shore. They do not begin to accept bookings for the year until March of that year, but they are permitting our guests to reserve accommodations in advance, giving us a chance to reserve the entire place as home base for the weekend. In order to do this, they are asking that you call them up, mention our wedding, and then follow up with a deposit via check, post-dated to January 2019, as they seem to use a cash accounting method rather than accrual. 2018 rates are here: http://www.seacrestinn.com/rates.html, and they'll be no more than $5 more for next year.
Travel Note
If you choose to stay elsewhere, there are a ton of other options for you (although you most likely will not be able to hang out at our hotel's pool, etc). There are plenty of resorts, motels, and inns both along the water and more inland. Some of our favorites within walking distance of our hotel are Congress Hall ($$$), Colton Court ($), and the Marquis de Lafayette ($$), which includes a solid free breakfast. Additionally, AirBnB, VRBO and HomeAway have great options if you're looking to rent a larger accommodation for a bigger group of folks, and/or trying to keep the costs down.
