Jordyn is from St. Louis, MO and is going into Social Work to help with people in poverty. Tyler is from Petersburg, IL and is going into Counseling to work with youth. We met through mutual friends at Southwest Baptist University in 2018. Our first date was in Springfield, MO where we ate at Panera for dinner and went to Bass Pro afterwards. We love hiking, thrifting, and exploring new places together. Our favorite things to watch are The Office (Jordyn's favorite) and Star Wars (Tyler's favorite). We're looking forward to camping and traveling together as a married couple!

We were engaged on October 17, 2020. We spent the day in Branson, starting at a pumpkin patch that ended up being more "made for children" than we thought. Afterwards we had Chick Fil A (one of our favorite places to eat!) for dinner. We ended the night by hiking at Table Rock State Park. Tyler had our friends help decorate a pavilion with pictures and lights, where at the end of the hike, he popped the question and we were officially engaged! All our friends ran out from behind some bushes and we celebrated with ice cream.
