The wedding of

We both grew up with a passion for music; Jordan playing different instruments and Lexi as a professionally trained singer, both performing at various events. After one particular performance, Lexi was still buzzing with excitement and chatting with friends at school in her environmental science class. This enthusiasm caught the attention of a classmate, who later approached her with an offer to audition for his rock band. Lexi expressed her interest, and he informed her that the audition would be at his bass guitar player's house. Her mom accompanied and took Lexi to her audition, where she met the rest of the band, including the bassist, who happened to be Jordan. There was something uniquely different about him that stood out to her. For the audition, Jordan played an Escape the Fate song on an acoustic guitar, and Lexi sang along. We had a natural chemistry that sparked very quickly. Naturally, from that moment on, our journey together began. Although the band eventually disbanded, we have been inseparable for 14 wonderful years and still have the same passion and fire for each other as we did while playing music and making memories together before, and still continue to, to this day.

In the summer of 2023, Jordan and Lexi went on a vacation to Japan with family and friends. Towards the end of the trip, we took an day excursion to a summer lantern festival in the city of Nara, Japan. Nara is known for beautiful temples, serene forest-life, and deer roaming the city that you can feed. We even stopped and visited a kimono shop where the lovely shop owner fitted us in summer yukata (light, traditional garments worn during summer festivals in Japan). On the evening of the lantern festival, on a warm summer night, we enjoyed delicious local food and beautiful lanterns illuminating every corner of the park. As the night was coming to an end, Jordan stopped and asked a local to take our photo, but it actually turned out to be a video capturing his surprise proposal! Lexi was flabbergasted to say the least, and now we forever remember Nara as our special place. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Los Angeles!
