What do I wear?
Answer
Our Wedding will be Formal. We suggest women wear cocktail or long dresses & men wear suits. Few things to note: -The ceremony & cocktail hour will be held on the lawn (weather permitting), so please choose your footwear accordingly. -Our wedding will be on the water in mid October so we do suggest a shawl or jacket for the ladies.

How do I get to Shelter Island by Car ?

From New York: Take either the North Ferry from Greenport, NY or the South Ferry from New Haven (near Sag Harbor), NY depending on which fork you're coming from. https://www.northferry.com/ https://www.southferry.com/ From Southeastern Connecticut: Take the Cross-Sound Ferry from New London, CT to Orient Point, NY and then drive to the North Ferry in Greenport. https://www.longislandferry.com/

Do I need a car?
Answer
No! You can take the train or bus to Greenport and hop on the North Ferry to Shelter Island. (more details below) Ubers on the Island are not reliable, however if you're coming to the Island on Friday we're happy to pick you up from the Ferry- just let us know! We will also be running a shuttle from the Ferry/Hotels/Rams Head on Saturday. More details to come.

From New York and Southeastern, CT: Take the LIRR from Penn or Grand Central Station to Greenport. You will be at the North Ferry landing when you exit the train in Greenport. Walk onto the ferry.
