We're getting married!

Our story officially started at a little coffee shop in Wake Forest, North Carolina. We initially met in November of 2019 after picking up some lattes and sitting down to talk at an outside table. While caffeine may not be the best thing for first-date jitters, our initial anxiety quickly subsided. The two of us just clicked from the first minute we met. From the outside looking in, we may seem to be two very different people. After all, we were born a decade apart and undeniably have contrasting personalities. Chris is quiet and more reserved, while Gael is certainly an outgoing extrovert. We also originally come from opposite ends of the East Coast. Nevertheless, we have always felt that we complement each other extremely well. We also, however, share several significant similar interests. In fact, our love for cats was one of the first things that we bonded over. Dozens of photos of our two boys were sent to each other in the first few months of our relationship. This has even continued over five years later, despite the fact that we now live together. A deep fondness for Carolina Hurricanes hockey is also mutual. Either at the arena or at home, we rarely ever miss a game. Besides our pets and the Canes, we love documenting our time together by taking tons of photos while traveling. Whether it’s a day trip to the beach or a flight across the country, our favorite place in the world to be is right next to each other. We can’t wait to continue exploring the world together for the rest of our lives.
