How do I RSVP?

Answer

You can click the RSVP tab on this website and RSVP any time after receiving your formal invitation in the mail. You should receive an email confirming your RSVP after submitting it to the bride & groom.

What if I don’t RSVP in time?

Answer

If you do not RSVP by the deadline, you will be marked as “not attending”. We would love to celebrate our big day with you, however, we have to provide an exact guest count to our vendors and cannot accept late RSVPs. This will mean that you are not allowed to show up to the ceremony, cocktail hour, or reception. There will be no seating, food, or drink accommodations for you.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will begin punctually at 4 o’clock in the afternoon. Please arrive no later than 3:45pm to grab a seat and take it all in before the processional starts.

What should I do if I cannot make it?

Answer

You will definitely be missed! If you cannot attend our wedding, please indicate “Will NOT Attend” on your RSVP so we can plan accordingly. If you have already RSVP’d “Attending”, but find that you will not make it, please notify Gaby, Griffin, or a member of their family as soon as you are aware.

Can we bring our children?

Answer

We have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event with the exception of our flower girl. We hope you’ll take this as a chance to let your hair down, enjoy a night out, and celebrate with us kid-free!

Can I bring a date/plus one?

Answer

Due to limited seating at our venue, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Thank you for understanding!

Will things be taking place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony & reception will all take place indoors, but the cocktail hour following the ceremony (and before the reception) will be outdoors.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We’d love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our special day! Dress code is semi-formal attire. Ladies, think midi or floor length dresses and comfortable heels or flats. For the Gentlemen, think slacks, button down shirts, and dress shoes. Please no jeans, flip flops, sneakers, and of course, no wearing white. Side note: bridesmaids will be wearing light mist blue dresses, and groomsmen will be wearing white button down tops and khaki suits. Where do I park?

Answer

There are two free parking lots just south of the venue on East 5th Street. Additional free parking can be found in the lot East of the venue as well. As parking near the venue in those free lots may be limited on a Saturday afternoon in Downtown Des Moines (and given a few cocktails may be had) we encourage our guests to Uber/Lyft.
