Question

How is the Wentworth Inn handling the check-in process during COVID?

Answer

The Wentworth Inn is requiring the use of masks in any indoor communal spaces. They have setup 'waiting stations' throughout the lobby to ensure guests are social distancing, as well as a staff member to help monitor capacity. The front desk has hand sanitizer for guests and plexiglass between the check in and front desk. No pens will be used twice, if needed to sign anything. The front desk will ask you to sign a form stating that you are feeling good and have no symptoms of COVID. You are more than welcome to call ahead when outside to see if others are in the lobby for check in.

Cleaning process throughout your stay at the Wentworth?

Answer

The Wentworth Inn is taking cleaning of the rooms very seriously between guests' stays. Once you have checked in, a staff member will not go into the room at all, meaning no housekeeping services throughout your stay. Clean towels can be picked up in a plastic bag at the front desk daily. There will be no room service offered nor water/alcohol for purchase in the room.

Mask Policy for the Wentworth Inn

Answer

The Wentworth and the state of New Hampshire require that you wear a mask inside communal areas at all times. Examples would be checking in, going through the lobby to your rooms, or using the bathrooms on the 1st floor (ones used for the wedding). Please be sure to bring your mask to the wedding. As of August 12, NH is requiring masks at all times for people in the tent if the event has more than 100 people. We are currently projected under 100 guests, however, we strongly encourage the use of the masks while moving around the tent for dancing or getting a drink at the bar.

Friday Welcome Party - COVID Update

Answer

Friday's Welcome Party has been moved to the back lawn and inside the tent to keep everything outside and socially distance as possible. Due to COVID and new guidelines, we won't be able to offer apps as it would be a communal plate. However, we will serve pizza at 7:30pm in the tent and ask guests to sit at tables (max of 6 people at a table) to ensure social distancing while still being able to catch up. Cash bar will be open in the tent. There will be a fire pit and lawn games to play while we get to welcome everyone to New Hampshire for the wedding. Please bring a mask for either the use of the restroom and anything indoors.

Ceremony - COVID Update

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour are outdoors. Please plan attire accordingly and be sure to bring a mask. Chairs at the ceremony will be grouped in pairs and spread apart to ensure social distancing. Feel free to move chairs around for your party to be seated together. Masks aren't required during the ceremony, however, we strongly encourage you to feel comfortable and wear one if you like or move your seat to a more comfortable location. The DJ will have the wedding mic'ed up for people to hear at far distances.

Cocktail Hour - COVID Update

Answer

Cocktail hour will take place on the back deck and lawn. Both bars will be located outside. All apps will be passed by waiters that are wearing masks and gloves. Wine and our signature drink will also be passed to lessen the line at the bar and encourage social distancing. Please keep 6 ft apart as you wait in line for the bar.

Reception - COVID Update

Answer

The reception will take place in a tent on the back lawn of the Wentworth Inn. The flaps will be up for the entire time to allow for air flow. Tables are currently capped at 6 people (NH law during COVID) and will be spread throughout the tent at least 6 feet apart. All food will be brought to the table by waiters wearing masks and gloves. The drinks will be passed throughout the dinner before the bars open up. Desserts will be individually wrapped. We are requiring people dancing (in any location of the tent) to wear a mask. We strongly encourage people to wear masks in the tent if they feel more comfortable as they move around the tent.

COVID Symptoms

If at any point 2 weeks before the wedding or during your stay you start to have symptoms of COVID or don't feel well in general, we ask you to please let us and the Wentworth know and do not attend any events of the wedding weekend. Don't worry about letting us know last minute, we rather keep you and the rest of the guests healthy and safe.

Is there transportation to/from the venue?

Answer

Transportation will not be provided. Ceremony and reception are at the Wentworth Inn. All accommodations suggested are in downtown Jackson and within a short walking distance.

Wedding Reception & Ceremony on Saturday is Formal Attire. On Friday during the Welcome Event it is Mountain Chic.
