What is the attire?

Answer

Our wedding day ceremony & reception will be black tie optional (Men in tux or dark suit, women in floor length dresses or formal attire!) Feel free to be as chic as you want!! What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00pm. Please arrive by 4:30pm-4:45pm so you have plenty of time to take your seat and have champagne!

Do you have a registry for gifts?

Answer

Yes! It is under the “Registry” tab - including a honeymoon fund and a house fund should you like to contribute to our fun ventures! Thank you so much!!!!!!!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Great question! As much as we love your little ones ~ we are asking that parents take a weekend off to join us for an adults-ONLY celebration!!! Please respect that we do not want any children at any of the events. Thank you!

Do I have a plus one?

Answer

Our celebration is RSVP only. Those that have a plus one will have “guest” next to your online RSVP. When you RSVP, your guests' name (or the option to add it in) will be clearly indicated. If you have any questions, or aren't sure, feel free to reach out to Gabby directly.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We will be having an unplugged ceremony, meaning we have an amazing photographer who will be capturing the ceremony! We do not want to see anyone’s phones in those photos - just your faces :) so PLEASE refrain from taking any photos during the ceremony.

How do I get to the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Both are located at Hotel Ella. We strongly encourage all guests to utilize ride share options like Lyft and Uber. There are no valet options and the limited parking available is allocated for our wedding vendors. Thank you for understanding! (P.S. There will be lots of drinking....but absolutely no driving...)

Am I invited to the welcome party?

Answer

Yes! We'd love for you to join us from 7:30 - 9:30 pm at Tiger Lilly to enjoy bevs, desserts, and get the celebration started. Parking downtown is tricky, we highly encourage using Lyft or Uber. We really hope to see you there!!!!

Are the ceremony and reception in one location? Is it outside or inside?

Answer

Yes, both will be located at Hotel Ella. The ceremony, and the cocktail hour following, will both be outdoors (this will be quick!) The reception will be indoors the rest of the night!

Where should I stay? Are there hotel blocks?

Answer

There is limited availability at Hotel Ella, please contact Gabby directly if you are interested in a room. Austin is full of great places to stay and our list of recommended spots can be found on the "Travel" page, many of which are on the same street as the venue.

Will there be an after party after the reception?

Answer

Yes! Night owls, the after party is open to everyone and will be right downstairs from the reception in The Parlor Bar at Hotel Ella following the reception. Don’t stop the party!!! You can do it. The after party will be until 1am.

Am I invited to the farewell brunch on Sunday?

Answer

Yes! Everyone is welcome to stop by Central Machine Works on Sunday to end our wedding weekend with us!! We will be there from 12-3. The location is a huge open space brewery with amazing food and drinks. It’s very Austin & very cool! We hope to see you there!!

What should I do while I'm in Austin?

Answer

Well, you're going to be plenty busy celebrating the bride and groom! ;) BUT if, by some miracle, you end up with spare time, there's a list of our favorite places in Austin on the “Things To Do” page.
