Gaby's junior year of college and Vaughn's senior year of college. We met through our mutual friend, Nadia, at the Union.
Gaby and Vaughn were first friends and began crushing on each other after discovering so many similarities in values, interests and personality traits. Gaby initiated the "What are we?" conversation and after about a week, Vaughn asked Gaby out on their first date, which was at Scotty's Brewhouse near Purdue's campus.
Vaughn surprised Gaby at one of their favorite spots in downtown Chicago (Wacker and Michigan intersection by the River Walk). She thought they were going to brunch with her sister and future brother-in-law, but instead their families were there waiting and hiding at a bus stop!
Thanks for celebrating our wedding with us...back at the place where it all began.
We are looking forward to celebrating with all of you on 11.13.21! Per protocol at the Church, please wear a mask if you are unvaccinated. Masks are optional for those vaccinated, but please wear a mask if that makes you most comfortable. We will also have masks available. Per protocol at the Venue, please wear a mask when entering. The venue’s protocol does ask guests to wear masks at all times, except when eating and drinking. However, the venue isn’t strongly enforcing this. Please do what makes you feel most comfortable and please keep your mask on as much as possible if unvaccinated. Please have proof of vaccination or recent negative Covid test handy. Of course, if you are feeling any symptoms of Covid-19 or any other illness on the day, please do not attend. There will always be time to celebrate!
