Tristan and Gabby met while working at a local pizza parlor and hit it off as friends. It wasn't until a few years later, when they ran into each other while walking to class at CSUB that they reconnected. After their first date the two found themselves inseparable.

Tristan and Gabby planned a summer vacation to Hawaii on the island of Oahu. On the first full day of their vacation Tristan insisted that they go on a hike and suggested a beautiful trail. Once they got to the very top of the trail the two stopped for a picture and Tristan got down on one knee. Surprising Gabby not only with a proposal but also with a photographer to capture the moment.
